Everybody is excited; it seems, about the new weight loss drug Alli, which is available over the counter without any prescription. Alli is the only FDA approved and European approved weight loss aid. Alli is based on the prescription drug Orlistat, which has been on the market for a while and has been giving people diarrhea, anal leakage and other entertaining side effects for quite some time. Orlistat absorbs the fat from foods you eat every day, from fast food to ice cream. There’s always stress that the vast chunk of any weight loss plan is a healthy diet and exercise. This pill takes away from a healthy diet, and promotes unhealthy eating habits.

NOTE:
Alli capsules work by preventing the absorption of some of the fat you eat. The fat passes out of your body so you may have bowel changes. You may get:
a) Gas with oily spotting
b) Loose stools
c) More frequent stools that may be hard to control
Eating a low-fat diet lowers the chance of having these bowel changes.
For every 5 pounds you lose from diet alone, alli can help you lose 2-3 pounds more. In studies, most people lost 5-10 pounds over 6 months.
